As well as being able to view each customer’s outstanding balance, you can generate statements to send for follow-up.

And if you link your business bank accounts, any payments you receive will be automatically matched to the related invoice – a great way to ensure you’re up to date all the time.

LiveAccounts cuts through the complexity to make payday simple and stress-free. You can complete your pay run in three easy steps from the LiveAccounts Pay Centre. Then, all you need to do is choose whether to email or print your payslips.

While the pay run process is simple, LiveAccounts still has the smarts to calculate employee tax (PAYE), KiwiSaver, leave deductions, allowances and bonuses. You can also generate reports as required.

And because LiveAccounts is online it’s always up-to-date, so you can relax knowing you’re using the latest tax rates and calculations on pay day.

If you’ve got your bank feeds set up, when the transactions come through LiveAccounts will automatically match them to the payroll entries that you’ve made.

Any of the reports you run in MYOB LiveAccounts can be viewed online, printed or saved. Saving reports to your own computer means you can always have a copy on hand for when you’re not connected to the internet.

Building & construction

If you work in the building and construction industry you can set up LiveAccounts to record your taxable reportable payments.

LiveAccounts will allow you to mark transactions and contacts as reportable, so after the first instance they are reported automatically and included on your Taxable payments annual report. This will make what could be a painful end of financial year a whole lot easier to manage and ensure you meet your compliance obligations with the IRD.

Look after your contacts

LiveAccounts helps you keep track of your two most important assets – your customers and your suppliers.

In the Contacts area you can record key information like delivery, postal and email addresses, phone numbers and more. After recording these once, the customer’s or supplier’s details will automatically display when you create an invoice or record an expense, with the option to email directly from the system.
