This one hour online training module will provide you with an in-depth understanding of annual leave, from setting up different types of employee entitlements through to leave processing, multiple pays and terminations.

Who should attend

This course is ideal for those who have either attended a Payroll New User training course or been using the payroll long enough to feel confident that they know their way around the system with a good understanding of all areas of processing a pay, including termination holiday pay and basic employee setup.

It would also be advantageous to have a good basic understanding of current employment legislation.

Course content

On completion of this course you will be able to:

• Understand how to setup annual leave entitlements for casual, fixed term, full-time and part-time employees in EXO Payroll
• Process annual leave over both single and multiple pay periods
• Understand how the payroll formulates the value of holiday pay based on current legislation
• Know the steps for processing a termination holiday pay.
• Understand what options are available when an employee changes their working pattern part way with a year and the effects this has on their annual entitlement.
