EXO Payroll - New User Training
Overview
This course is designed for users with their payroll already setup, and covers a comprehensive training on the ongoing requirements to maintain, setup, and process pays.

Who should attend
This course is ideal for anybody that has recently taken over payroll or is new to the company and is looking after all of the payroll functions using EXO Payroll. You don't require any prior experience or training using this payroll system.
Course content
On completion of this course you will be able to:
- Understand the process to complete annual registration for payroll
- Setup reminder notes from your diary and employee notes
- Setup user security details and access rights for a payroll user
- Setup new allowances and deductions as and when required
- Setup new Kiwisaver groups for different percentage options for members
- Access the Pay Cycle to complete all the steps to process a payroll
- Add a new employee with all leave requirements, standard pay, banking details etc
- Open a current pay with the correct pay period ending and physical payment dates
- Process all leave, overtime, allowances, deductions and any adjustments to employee wages or salaries in a current pay
- Format a report
- Create a report run
- Understand the IRD reporting requirements
- Create Direct Credit Banking File (if applicable)
- Update and backup a current pay
- Create a One Off pay and process a Terminate Holiday Pay for an employee
- Understand Terminate (just for contractors and casual staff) and Reinstate options.
