This workshop is designed for users with their payroll already setup, and covers a comprehensive training on the ongoing requirements to maintain, setup, and process pays. Throughout this workshop you will be completing various exercises covering the content below.

Who should attend

This course is ideal for anybody that has recently taken over payroll or new to the company and is looking after all of the payroll functions using MYOB EXO Payroll and has had no prior experience or training using this payroll system.

This course will cover:

• Annual Registrations
• Setting up reminders, user security details and basic look & feel
• Setting up new allowances and deductions as and when required
• New KiwiSaver groups for different percentage options for members
• Using the Pay Cycle to complete all the steps to process a payroll
• Adding new employees with all leave requirements, standard pay, banking details etc
• Processing current pays including leave payments, overtime, allowances, deductions and any adjustments required, plus how to create direct credit payment files.
• Formatting reports and creating report runs
• Understanding the IRD reporting requirements
• One Off pays and processing a Termination Holiday Pay for an employee
• Terminations for contractors and casual staff, and Reinstate options.

Course attendees receive a comprehensive training guide, exercise workbook and function key template.
