MYOB Bookkeeping Assessment Terms & Conditions
- Enrolment Requirements: Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment of the assessment fee. A confirmation letter and tax invoice will be provided after full payment has been received by MYOB. Please contact MYOB if you do not receive this within 4 working days of making payment.
- Refunds for MYOB Bookkeeping Assessment: No refunds will be issued after you have accessed the online bookkeeping assessment course for the first time or if you have not logged onto the assessment within 30 days of receiving your log-in details from MYOB.
- Preparation for the assessment: It is important that you fully satisfy any specified prerequisites and prepare yourself for the 6 units of competency. This may include attending the MYOB Bookkeeping course. Alternatively, you may wish to study and work through some of our exam resources such as ‘MYOB Training in a Book: Bookkeeping for beginners’ or the practice assessment.* ‘MYOB Training in a Book: Bookkeeping for beginners’ should help prepare students who currently work as bookkeepers.
- Copyright
- All MYOB course material is protected by copyright and is not able to be copied or utilised by you or any other party without permission from MYOB. This applies to the complete course materials or any part of them.
- Purchase of MYOB Online self-paced learning courses for business management products allows the purchaser (one individual only) access to the online course for a period of 6 months. Only the original individual purchaser is granted rights to access the online course, access rights are not transferable to any other party and sharing of user names and passwords is prohibited.
- MYOB reserves the right to immediately terminate access to online self-paced learning courses for business management products if it believes that more than one user is accessing an online course using the same log-in details.
- Results and Supplementary assessments: Results will ordinarily be made available within 20 business days of submission. Students who are unsuccessful and assessed as not yet competent in one or more units will be offered a free supplementary assessment. Please refer to our ‘Student at Risk’ policy to understand the implications and guidelines where students repeatedly fail (more than twice) the bookkeeping assessment.
- Extensions: Once students receive their log-in details they will have 8 weeks to access, complete and submit the assessment to MYOB Training. Students will be sent expiry notification emails informing them of how much time they have remaining to complete and submit the assessment. Extensions to assessment log in periods may be granted in exceptional circumstances, up to 12 months after the initial enrolment and at the discretion of MYOB Training.
Once the extension period lapses no further extensions will be granted. Students will therefore not be able to access or submit their assessment and will forfeit any fees paid.
